I am a true Southern girl who loves her home, inside and out. I grew up in Mississippi and have now resided in the Atlanta, GA area for over 10 years. I love this social media thing because it allows me to utilize my skills and background in marketing and real estate and combine it with my passion for interior design. I really enjoy sharing my thoughts on what I love and my hope is that by reading this blog, you might get some enjoyment and satisfaction out of my posts or at the very least, I hope you are amused.
Background:
I earned my bachelors degree in Social Sciences, and M.B.A. with an emphasis in marketing, wandering through the fields of customer service, commercial banking, marketing and real estate before finding my true career passion in the interior design industry. In 2009, I completed my education at Vanguard School of Interior Design then started my own company Renae Meyer Home/Modern Magnolia LLC. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented local design professionals and in some of the most exquisite showrooms in Atlanta. I believe that a residential interior designer has the opportunity to improve the way people live in their most intimate spaces. I make it a goal to stay up to date on the most recent design trends by researching color schemes, furniture, art, fabric and accessory lines, then passing on my findings to you the readers and incorporating this knowledge into design plans for my clients.
